Don't miss this rare opportunity to see the world's oldest and best preserved parchment scroll of the Ten Commandments on display at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto between October 10th and 18th, 2009.  The displayed scroll contains the text of the Ten Commandments from Deuteronomy 5 and is the best preserved of all the Deuteronomy manuscripts ever discovered.  This biblical scroll, written in Hebrew and dated to 1 BCE, was discovered in Cave 4 near the site of Khirbet Qumran in 1952.

"Pinkalicious The Musical" is coming to the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts on October 10th, 2009

Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents.  Her infatuation with all things pink lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe.  But when her pink hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this peculiar predicament. 

This one-hour family musical, based on the popular children's book "Pinkalicious" by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, is coming to the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts from October 10th, 2009 to March 21st, 2010.  Showtimes are Saturdays at 11 am & 1 pm and Sundays at 1 pm, with special performances on Monday, October 12th, 2009 at 1 pm (Thanksgiving Day) and Monday, February 15th, 2010 at 1 pm (Family Day).
