Downsview Park's Annual Trail of Lights begins November 27, 2009 and promises wonder and merriment for the entire family

We got back from Sunday's matinee performance, and its well worth attending.  The show got the entire audience on their feet and there were some great, funny, energetic performances from its entire cast. The 100 minute performance (no intermissions) does contain adult language.  A perfect show for a date, share some laughs, get the energy level up and enjoy a meal at all the great Danforth Ave. restaurants.

Canadian Opera Company presents Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" and Stravinsky's "The Nightingale and Other Short Fables" featuring huge discounts for those under 30

The Canadian Opera Company (COC) is pleased to present Puccini's classic opera "Madama Butterfly" on stage from September 26th to November 3rd, 2009 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on Queen Street West in downtown Toronto.  And for a limited time, opera lovers under thirty (with valid photo ID) can purchase discounted tickets to this timeless stage production for as little as $20 per person (plus service charges) under the COC's Opera for a New Age discount promotion.  For each mainstage performance, approximately 150 seats will be set aside in designated sections of the Four Seasons Centre for younger ticket buyers and student groups.  In order to take advantage of this special offer, you must purchase your tickets either in person at the Four Seasons Centre box office or online using the special webcode IAMUNDER30.  Some conditions may apply.  Please note that discounted tickets to Stravinsky's "The Nightingale & Other Short Fables", running October 17th to November 5th, are also currently available under this promotion.
